Our Dublin store is located in the city centre, just off Grafton Street. We have a great selection of the best Irish and European cheeses all cared for in our specially controlled atmosphere. Shop Manager John Leverrier and his expert staff will gladly talk you through our cheeses and you are always welcome to taste the cheeses before you buy. Along with our cheeses we stock a bespoke selection of ‘old world’ wines, Irish and European charcuterie, olives, and lots more of our favourite foods. We also do a small selection of the best sandwiches in Dublin!
Wedding cheese cakes are one of our specialties.
Our Co Meath shop is adjoined to our warehouse and head-office in the townland of Pottlereagh on the Meath Cavan border. The site was formerly the Virginia Road railway station. Sheridans received the Ellison award from An Taisce for their work in renovating and conserving the old railway store. This large stone building now houses our largest retail shop displaying Sheridan’s famous selection of quality cheeses, foods and wines.
Call in and be guided through the very best of Irish food by shop manager Franck Le Moenner and his team.
Here you can also sit down and have a coffee or tea. The buildings are set in the beautiful rolling hills of the Meath Countryside.
Every Saturday we host a small market for local food producers; including our butcher, local fruit and veg grower and many more.
On the last Sunday of every May we host our now famous Irish food Festival. The festival is a family day celebrating the best of Irish food including many our best know producers from around the country.
Our Galway shop is located on the lovely St. Nicholas’s Church square in the centre of the city where a farmers market is held every Saturday. This is where Kevin & Seamus Sheridans first started selling cheese in 1995.
Emilia Furey – General Manager of our Shop & Wine Bar - and her expert staff will gladly talk you through our cheese, wine and other wonderful array of products.
A visit to Sheridans on a Saturday is a real insight into a vibrant Galway and to how food has been traded in the city for hundreds of years.
A visit during the week is a more relaxed affair allowing you to chat to one of our mongers and browse at ease through our shelves of wonderful foods, taste and learn about our wide selection of farmhouse cheeses, olives, local organic fruit and veg, Irish and European charcuterie and lots more of our favourite foods.
Our Wine Shop and Bar is situated above the shop. The emphasis of our shop is on Italian wines, all imported and selected exclusively by Sheridans, we also import some excellent wines from France, Spain and Portugal. You can sit in this quiet and cosy space with a glass of wine and simple plate of cheeses or cured meats and enjoy the beautiful view onto St Nicholas’s Square.

We have a cheese and olive counter run by our own staff in Ardkeen Quality Food Store on the Dunmore road in Waterford city.
Ardkeen Food store is one of Ireland’s last remaining independent supermarkets; locally owned and managed. The business was founded by Robert and Pamela Jephson in 1967 as a small grocery store with petrol pumps out the front. It is now a leading light in the retail of quality foods.
The Sheridans Cheese Counter has a market stall feel; where customers can taste, discuss and choose from a select range of Sheridans finest cheeses and olives, all cut to order by Sheridan’s trained staff.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer Dunnes stores customers in Stephens Green and the Swan Centre a great range of cheeses, olives and lots more of Sheridans favourite products.
Our counters are stocked with the exact same cheeses and foods that you find in our shops. The cheesemongers behind the counters are employed, managed and trained by Sheridans and most importantly are as passionate and excited about our cheeses as the cheesemongers which we are famous for. The counters are open during the normal opening hours of the Dunnes Stores.
If you get a chance pop in and check out the counters, I think, like all of us you will be really pleased with what Sheridans and Dunnes have achieved. We have had incredibly positive feedback from our new customers and it is really wonderful to be able to introduce a whole new group of Irish shoppers to great tasting traditional and farmhouse cheeses.
