Atavica is a small organic wine estate in Maremma, Tuscany, founded by a group of friends who moved from Dublin to Italy to build a farming and winemaking project from scratch. The estate works with organically farmed vineyards and a low-intervention approach, focusing on native fermentation and minimal cellar handling to keep the wines as natural and expressive as possible.
The wines are made in small batches and aim for freshness, balance, and a clear sense of place, reflecting both the Tuscan landscape and the hands-off philosophy in the cellar. Alongside wine, the estate also produces olive oil and follows a broader farm-to-table approach rooted in sustainable, seasonal farming.
