A textbook Sauvignon, that combines a typical Languedoc fruitiness with a bright freshness and a juicy acidity, and of course with the perfect easy drinking feel that is characteristic of Moulin de Gassac wines. Light, dry, crisp sauvignon blanc from the Languedoc. Typical pale gold colour, with an expressive, open nose of citrus and grassy hints. Ideal with fresh fish or young goats cheese.

Sauvignon Moulin de Gassac

Sauvignon Moulin de Gassac is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes harvested in the cooler vineyard sites of the Languedoc, where they are picked early to preserve high natural acidity and aromatic intensity. The juice is gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain its crisp, varietal character and fresh fruit-driven profile without oak influence.

Moulin de Gassac

Languedoc, France

Created in the 1990s by the visionary founder of Domaine Mas de Daumas Gassac, Moulin de Gassac was a reaction to the EU’s vine-pull scheme that led to uprooting of hundreds of thousands of hectares of vines across the Languedoc. Aimé Guibert partnered with local vignerons who had good quality sites in order to save these terroirs. Today, the Moulin de Gassac wines represent the classic terroir of the Languedoc with the signature elegance and freshness of Mas de Daumas Gassac.
