Description

Classic Cheese & Accompaniment Hamper

Sheridans Classic Cheese & Accompaniment Hamper includes:
Comte Elegance 200g: Clean and lightly fruity flavour with brothy aroma and smooth paste. Petite’s 10 month Comté cheese you can eat at breakfast, in sandwiches, on toast and salads. Melting brilliantly, this cheese is the perfect way to top vegetable gratins, and add as a main ingredient to fondue.
Roquefort La Coccinelle 100g: a classic, bold roquefort
Crémeux de Bourgogne: a classic mould-rind double-crème cheese. Surrounded by a white bloom rind smelling faintly of mushrooms, the interior of this sumptuous, 72% butterfat cheese is a soft white paste that tastes like a heavenly mixture of butter and stiffly whipped cream.
Paiarrop Quince Paste Jar 100g
Golferino Salami 230g
Sheridans Rye Linseed crackers: Handmade for us in West Cork. We use Rye Flour, stoneground at Macroom Oatmeal Mills in Co Cork, and unbleached wheat flour, extra virgin olive oil with brown linseeds (flaxseeds) baked into the mix.
Sheridans Brown-Bread crackers: Handmade for us in West Cork. We use Flour that is stoneground at Macroom Oatmeal Mills, Butter from Bandon Co-op and buttermilk produced by the Cronin family from Belgooly; all in Co Cork.
Sheridans Chutney for Cheese 220g: This apple and plum chutney is made for us by Janet Drew in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.

Meet Our Producers

Sheridans Cheesemongers

Kells, Co. Meath

Sheridans Cheesemongers is owned and run by Kevin and Seamus Sheridan who began selling Irish farmhouse cheese on a market stall in Galway over 25 years ago. Since then, Sheridans has grown to become a trusted name in Irish cheese and artisan foods, known both at home and around the world. Today, you'll find Sheridans counters in Dunnes Stores, standalone Sheridans shops in Galway, Meath, and Dublin, as well as a busy wholesale department selling Irish farmhouse cheeses to shops, restaurants, and cheesemongers across the globe. Over the years our ethos has remained the same: great cheese and passionate customer service. Sheridans has built strong, lasting relationships with Irish cheese makers and continues to champion new producers. Every cheese is chosen for its quality, but also for its provenance — reflecting the land, the people, and the traditions behind it. Sheridans sees its role as a bridge between the cheesemakers and customers, connecting people to the stories, places, and craft behind every cheese.
