Côtes de Bourg Chateau Grand Launay

Château Grand Launay is made in a fairly traditional Right Bank Bordeaux style, but with a strong focus on organic and biodynamic farming. The grapes (mainly Merlot, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and sometimes Malbec) are hand-harvested and fermented using natural, indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, which helps preserve freshness and fruit purity. After fermentation, the wine is aged partly in concrete and partly in older oak barrels, so it keeps a fruit-driven, terroir-focused character rather than heavy oak influence, before being blended and bottled.
