Description

Guidobono Roero Arneis

Made from Arneis, Piedmont's most interesting white grape, this wine is round with plenty of ripe peach fruit with a zesty backbone. This is a white made for food pairings, delicate yet forward with enough body to handle spice.

Guidobono

Langhe and Roero, Italy

Guidobono produce textbook interpretations of the local Langhe grape varieties arneis, barbera and nebbiolo. The fertile, sandy Roero valley allows the grapes to develop generous, perfumed fruit profiles, while pockets of marine deposits contribute satisfying depth and structure. Roero may lack fame compared to the neighbouring Barolo and Barbaresco zones, but it is certainly not lacking in quality. The result is youthful, expressive wines that offer a jumping-off point into the diversity of Piemonte.
