La Narval Mackerel Fillets in Tomato Sauce
Meaty, flaky mackerel fillets in a fresh tomato sauce with just enough acidity to cut the richness. The fish is cooked in seawater and lightly dried before the sauce is added, so it takes on the flavour rather than being lost in it. Full-flavoured but balanced, and high in vitamins B6 and B12.
La Narval tin their fish on the Ría de Arousa in Galicia, north-west Spain. Excellent with crusty bread, tossed through pasta, or served with potatoes and a green salad.
