Meinklang Prosa Rosé

Meinklang Prosa Rosé is a biodynamic sparkling rosé from Burgenland, Austria, produced by the Michlits family on their Demeter-certified farm where vineyards are farmed alongside livestock in a closed-loop system. The wine is made from organically grown grapes, harvested by hand to preserve freshness and natural acidity. It is produced in a low-intervention style with spontaneous fermentation and secondary fermentation in bottle (ancestral method), resulting in a lightly sparkling, unfiltered rosé. The focus is on purity and vibrancy, with minimal cellar manipulation to reflect the estate’s natural, farm-driven approach.

Managed by the Michlits family, the farm operates as a self-sustaining ecosystem where vineyards are integrated with livestock, crops, and biodiversity in a closed-loop agricultural system. With a strong focus on Demeter-certified biodynamic farming, Meinklang cultivates both indigenous and international grape varieties, producing natural wines that express purity, vibrancy, and a clear sense of place. Winemaking is low-intervention, with spontaneous fermentations and minimal additives, reflecting the estate’s philosophy of harmony between agriculture and nature.
