Meet Our Producers

Cantina Orsogn

Abruzzo, Italy

Cantina Orsogna is a large organic and biodynamic wine cooperative based in Orsogna, in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. Founded in 1964 by a group of local growers, it has grown into one of the country’s leading cooperative wineries, with hundreds of member producers cultivating vineyards across Abruzzo and parts of Sicily. The cooperative is known for its strong commitment to sustainability, with all vineyards certified organic and a significant portion farmed biodynamically under Demeter certification. Led by winemaker Camillo Zulli, Cantina Orsogna focuses on native grape varieties such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, and Pecorino, producing wines that emphasize regional character, minimal intervention, and respect for biodiversity.
