Our wine bar in Galway is now open!
Our Wine Bar and shop is situated above the cheese shop on Churchyard st beside St. Nicholas’s Church & the Galway weekend market space at the center of the city. Pop in for one (or two) of our delicious cheese boards and lots more… And naturally, dont forget the wine!
The emphasis of our wine bar and shop is on Old world wines ; mainly Italian wines, all imported and selected exclusively by Sheridan’s as well as some excellent wines from France, Spain and Portugal. Our open/by the glass selection rotates daily so there is always something new to discover. During the day you can sit in this peaceful and cosy space with a glass of wine and simple plate of cheeses or cured meats and enjoy the beautiful views onto St Nicholas’s Square. By night, Sheridans Wine Bar becomes part of the Galway city fabric, a place where some of the city’s established and lively characters gather to enjoy their wine and cheese, away from the maddening crowds.
