Sergio Arcuri Liberaisensi Calabria Bianco 2024
About This Drink
Sergio’s Greco Bianco ‘Liberaisensi,’ which loosely means “blindfolded” or “tasting blind,” is macerated on its skins for two to three hours before pressing and naturally fermenting. Fresh and aromatic, but grounded by vibrant herbal and mineral notes, it’s an excellent pairing for heartier fish steaks like swordfish, or even grilled pork.

Sergio was born in Cirò Marina in July of 1971, two years after the Cirò DOC was created—one of the first in Italy, along with today’s greats, like Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino. He grew up making traditional Cirò with his father 'since he was three,' he says, and from early on he knew he wanted to make wine. At age 38, after working some years in Sardinia and Milan, he came to a point where he knew he had to make the leap back home to follow his calling, bottling his first vintage in 2009.Seasonal Best Sellers
