Meet Our Producers

Maison Biraben

Pyrénées, France

Maison Biraben is a family-owned producer based in Beuste, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region of south-west France. Founded in 1946 by Odette and Joseph Biraben, the company began as a small market business sourcing and preparing duck from local farms in the Béarn area. Today, Biraben is recognised for its range of traditional Sud-Ouest specialities, particularly foie gras, duck confit, rillettes, and other regional pâté and preserved products. The company works closely with producers in the South-West of France and follows strict regional quality standards such as IGP Sud-Ouest, which guarantee origin and production methods.
