Description

Irish Strawberry and Balsamic Jam

Created by Sheridans, made using only Irish fruit in open pans in small batches by Tom Laura Sinnott in New Ross, Co. Wexford. Sheridans Irish Rhubarb & Elderflower Jam is made by slowly cooking fresh rhubarb with sugar to break it down into a soft, tangy fruit base. Elderflower is then added to infuse the jam with its distinctive floral aroma, and the mixture is boiled to setting point before being jarred while hot. The result is a balance of sharp rhubarb acidity and fragrant elderflower sweetness, preserved through traditional small-batch jam-making methods.
