Description

The Epicurean Hamper

In The Epicurean Hamper you will receive:
Gavi Di Gavi Rovereto: A Lively aromas of citrus and apple with hints of white flower and a crisp texture.
Vina Ilusion Rioja: a classic Rioja with big berry flavours, earthy and leathery notes
Comte 16mth Symphony: A complex flavour with notes of hazelnut, caramelized onion, rich scalded milk and a smooth, firm texture.
Stilton 180g
Parmigiano Reggiano 180g: Fruity, nutty, and deeply savoury with great texture and slight crunch, our Parmigiano Reggiano comes exclusively from Giorgio Cravero, friend and trusted affineur. We think this is the highest quality Parmigiano Reggiano around.
Isigny Ste Mere Camembert 250g: The extraordinary quality of the milk at Isigny Ste Mere allows the cooperative to make a Camembert that never fails to take on a beautiful colour as it ripens, giving off a heady perfume. This soft PDO raw milk camembert with a bloomy rind brings delightfully strong fruity and nutty notes.
Sheridans Brown-Bread crackers: Handmade for us in West Cork. We use Flour that is stoneground at Macroom Oatmeal Mills, Butter from Bandon Co-op and buttermilk produced by the Cronin family from Belgooly; all in Co Cork.
Sheridans Chutney for Cheese 105g: This apple and plum chutney is made for us by Janet Drew in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow. We worked together with Janet for some time to come up with a chutney which was mellow enough to accompany nearly any type of cheese you can think of! We're pretty sure that we've succeeded and hope you'll agree once you try it.
Prunotto honey acacia mini: A mild Italian floral honey.
Rustichella D'Abruzzo Spaghetti 250 g: Traditional Italian pasta made with first quality durum wheat semolina.
Prunotto Organic crushed tomatoes with sweet peppers 220g: Produced by Prunotto in Italy. Imported to Ireland by Sheridans. This sauce is perfect for pasta sauces and casseroles.
Sliced shoulder of cebo de campo Iberico 100g: Sourced from Salamanca. Juan Matas have been curing meat for three generations using natural drying methods and the finest quality Iberico pork.
New Kid Coffee Seasonal Blend Ground 250g: Made from 50% Colombian and 50 % Guatemalan beans and roasted in small batches in Donegal.

Meet Our Producers

Sheridans Cheesemongers

Kells, Co. Meath

Sheridans Cheesemongers is owned and run by Kevin and Seamus Sheridan who began selling Irish farmhouse cheese on a market stall in Galway over 25 years ago. Since then, Sheridans has grown to become a trusted name in Irish cheese and artisan foods, known both at home and around the world. Today, you'll find Sheridans counters in Dunnes Stores, standalone Sheridans shops in Galway, Meath, and Dublin, as well as a busy wholesale department selling Irish farmhouse cheeses to shops, restaurants, and cheesemongers across the globe. Over the years our ethos has remained the same: great cheese and passionate customer service. Sheridans has built strong, lasting relationships with Irish cheese makers and continues to champion new producers. Every cheese is chosen for its quality, but also for its provenance — reflecting the land, the people, and the traditions behind it. Sheridans sees its role as a bridge between the cheesemakers and customers, connecting people to the stories, places, and craft behind every cheese.
