Sheridans Cheesemongers are hosting a Harvest Festival on Sunday 5th September. The festival is to celebrate food grown or produced within a 50 mile radius, it will be held here at our Virginia Road Station headquarters in County Meath. We are focusing on food which is more local. Following the huge success of our Irish food festival in May of this year, when over forty Irish food producers and more than 3,500 people attended. There will be producers and growers from Co Meath and the surrounding areas here to sell, sample and talk about their wonderful foods. "We want this small festival to celebrate the diversity and quality of food being produced on a small scale in our area and to highlight this to the community." " – Kevin Sheridan |
