George and Hanna make their Halloumi from the milk of their sheep raised on their third generation hill farm in The Glen-of-Imaal, Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow.
Halloumi is a hugely versatile cheese, its high melting point means it can be grilled, fried, and even barbequed making it a popular ingredient in vegetarian recipes. As this Halloumi is made from pure Sheep’s milk it has a creamier richer texture.
