Cote 50 is the entry-level wines from Yannick Amirault coming from 4.75 hectares of vines on gravelly clay and sandy soils in Bourgueil – Les Sables, La Coudraye, Les Pins, and Les Perrières.

Not only is Yannick Amirault undisputedly the greatest producer in Bourgueil, he is also one of the finest red wine makers in the entire Loire. His wines are standard issue on the best wine lists throughout France. Low yields and meticulous care in both the vineyard an d the cellar result in wonderfully deep, age - worthy wines with dens e fruit and smooth tannins.
