Story

The Brezo Blanco, a blend of old vines Godello & Doña Blanca, not only is one of the wines that perfectly represent Gregory’s philosophy, but also offers an incredible value for money.

Producer

In 2007, after stints in his native Bordeaux and in Spain, Grégory Pérez purchased 5 hectares in Bierzo and started Mengoba. His commitment is to produce terroir-driven, non-interventionist wines. A judicious use of oak vessels, for both fermentation and ageing, natural yeasts, almost no filtration or clarification, and a minimal amount of sulphur, results in wines that taste genuine: pure, deep and complex.
