Story

Sancerre is a French wine Appellation (AOC) for wine produced in the area of Sancerre in the eastern part of the Loire valley, southeast of Orléans. Almost all of the appellation lies on the left bank of the Loire, opposite Pouilly-Fumé. It is well regarded for and primarily associated with Sauvignon blanc.

Producer

Vincent Gaudry took over the family estate in the early 90's when he was only 18 years old, and converted to biodynamic farming almost immediately, making him one of pioneers of the region. The approach to vinification is definitely simple, with spontaneous fermentations and with a minimal use of sulphites.
