Description
Entre Vinyes Xarel lo Vermell Brisat
Made from the rare Xarel·lo Vermell, a pink-skinned mutation of the classic Xarel·lo grape, this natural orange wine comes from old vines in Baix Penedès, Catalonia. The vineyards sit on chalky, limestone-rich soils, close to the Mediterranean, where warm, dry days are tempered by cooling coastal breezes, helping the grapes retain freshness.
The grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented in stainless steel with around two weeks of skin contact, giving the wine its colour, texture and gentle tannic grip. It then spends three months partly in 700-litre clay amphorae before being bottled unfiltered, with minimal intervention.
