Story

Douro is a Portuguese wine region centered on the Douro river and has the most highest wine classification as a Denominação de Origem Controlada (DOC). The region is associated with Port Wine Production, and produces as much table wine as it does fortified wine.

Producer

Jean - Hugues Gros is a French wine maker, who, after years of international experience, decided to make his home in the Douro region. In 2004, he started his own project under the Odisseia label. Grapes are sourced from high - quality local vineyards, then vinified and aged in his own cellar in Vila Real . Ageing in stainless steel rather than oak means Little Odisseia is a bright, vibrant take on classic Douro flavours.
