Story

The warm climate of the Languedoc might not be the natural home of Pinot Noir, but in the hands of Mas de Daumas Ga ssac such concerns have been successfully put aside. This is light and fresh easy drinking, but with dark cherry and vegetal notes that mark out a good example of this grape. It certainly matches up to the producer's hallowed reputation.

Producer

Created in the 1990s by the visionary founder of Domaine Mas de Daumas Gassac, Moulin de Gassac was a reaction to the EU’s vine-pull scheme that led to uprooting of hundreds of thousands of hectares of vines across the Languedoc. Aimé Guibert partnered with local vignerons who had good quality sites in order to save these terroirs. Today, the Moulin de Gassac wines represent the classic terroir of the Languedoc with the signature elegance and freshness of Mas de Daumas Gassac.
